Examples of When A Client Structure Item Cannot Be Expired
There are occasions when a client structure item cannot be expired.
-
The item has time recordings after the expiry date
The expiry date must be after the latest time recording. For example, if the latest time recording was 01/01/2026, the expiry date cannot be earlier than that date.
-
The item was created from a Template
When an item is created from a template, it cannot be expired, because all changes to a template should be made to the template itself. The item should either be set to expire on the template, or the template should be removed from the Linked Template section to unlink it.
