Adding New Client Items - From The Table
When adding a few items, it is often quicker to do so directly from the Client page using the Add Icon. This guide will show you how to create a new three-level client structure from this page.

Click Client
- Click the green Add New Client button. If your Level 1 Name is not set to Client, this button may be named differently.

Add a Name for the client. This example uses the name Example Client, and click Save.

You will be returned to the client page, and the client will be shown the list. Click the plus icon to add a project to this client. Projects can also be added from the client's edit page by clicking the edit icon.

Add a Name for the project. This example uses the name Example Project, and click Save.
- You will be returned to the client page. The client will now appear as an expandable group because it has an attached project. Click the row to expand the group.
Click the plus icon on the project row to add an activity to this project. You can also add activities from the project edit page by clicking the edit icon.

Add a Name for the activity. This example uses the name Example Activity, and click Save.
- You will be returned to the client page. The project will now appear as an expandable group because it has an attached activity. Click the row to expand the group.
You can add additional activities, projects or clients to meet your needs.
There is no limit to the number of items you can have in Timemarker.

When adding multiple items at a lower level, it is often quicker to do so from the items edit page. This guide will show you how to create a new three-level client structure using the edit page.

Click Client
- Click the green Add New Client button. If your Level 1 Name is not set to Client, this button may be named differently.

Add a Name for the client. This example uses the name Example Client, and click Save.

You will be returned to the client page, and the client will be shown the list. Click the edit icon to open the client edit page.

Click the Add New Project Button to add a project to this client. You can also add projects to a client from the client page by clicking the add icon.
If your Level 2 Name is not set to Project, this button may be named differently.

Add a Name for the project. This example uses the name Example Project, and click Save.
- You will be returned to the client edit page. Click the edit icon on the project row to be taken to the edit page for this project.

Click the Add New Activity Button to add an activity to this project. You can also add activities to a project from the client page by clicking the add icon.
If your Level 3 Name is not set to Activity, this button may be named differently.

Add a Name for the activity. This example uses the name Example Activity, and click Save.
- You will be returned to the project edit page.
You can add additional activities, projects or clients to meet your needs.
There is no limit to the number of items you can have in Timemarker.
