This guide will show you how to request time off in Timemarker.
If you are unable to complete any of the steps in this guide, you can use the Submit a request button at the top right of this page to contact our team for help.

Click the Time Off Request item in the navigation bar. If this item is not displayed, your company's time off functionality is not enabled. An admin can activate this on the time off settings page.

Click the green Request Time off Button.

The request Time Off pop-up will be displayed.
Set the Time Off Year to the year you would like to request time off for.
Set the Time Off Type to the type of time off you would like to request.
Remaining Days will show your remaining entitlement for the selected type and year.

Set the Start Date to the date you would like to request time off for.
Set the End Date to the date you would like to end your time off request.
To request a half-day of time off, select the Morning or Afternoon radio button for the Start and End Dates.

To submit your time-off request, click the green Request button.
When a time-off request is submitted, your time-off approvers will be notified by email that the request is pending approval. If the request is rejected, you will be notified by email.

Your request will now be shown in the Time Off Bookings table.
If your request is for dates in the past or a different year, you will need to change the Time Off Year or Display Time Off Bookings options to see the request.
