Timesheet Week View
This view is most suitable for users who complete their timesheets at the end of the week. It allows you to record time and notes for multiple days at once. You can select this view by clicking Week at the top right of the timesheet page.

Adding a new row
Click the green Add New Row button to open the Add New Row pop-up.
You can add an item to your timesheet by using the Search function or by selecting the item from the dropdown boxes.Search
Please add a search term of at least three characters for an item to add and click Search. A dropdown selection menu will be displayed. Selecting an item from the list will populate the level dropdowns.
Level selection
Select the Client*, Project* and Activity* to add time to.
You can type text into any dropdown to filter results by that selection.*Please note your level names may be different, and you may have more or fewer dropdown boxes depending on your company's settings.
When an item at the lowest level is selected, the Add Row button changes from grey to green. Clicking the Add Row button will add the item to your timesheet.

Entering time
Now that an item has been added to your timesheet, you can enter time for each item and day by adding a value to the day box. Your timesheet is automatically saved whenever you make a change.

Adding notes
You can add notes to any row for any day of the week by clicking the Notes icon on the right.
Please enter your note for the item and day, then click Save. Time entry records containing notes are highlighted in yellow.

Removing Items
Unrequired rows can be removed by clicking on the Delete icon. Unused rows will be automatically removed from a future timesheet after a number of weeks. The number of weeks is configured by your Company administrator.

Weekly Remaining
The remaining amount shows how many hours are left to record for the week. The text will not be shown once you have met or exceeded your weekly requirement.

Completing your timesheet
When you have met or exceeded your required hours, the Complete button will change from grey to green. When you are happy with your timesheet and there are no changes to make, click on the Complete button to submit it. A completed timesheet can only be changed if it is unlocked by an administrator or a timesheet approver.

Filter activities*
You can filter your timesheet to display and update selected items. To do this, add a keyword to the filter box. Only items that contain the keyword will be displayed. Removing the text in the filter section will restore all timesheet items.
*The filter box is displayed if you have more than five rows in your timesheet.

Week selection
You can move to the previous or next week by clicking the left and right arrows. Alternatively, you can use the calendar icon to select a week.
Timesheet Day View
This view is available to users who wish to complete their timesheets day by day or on mobile. You can select this view by clicking Day at the top right of the timesheet page.

Day selection
When adding time to a week that includes the current date, the day view displays that day. When editing time for any other week, the day view will display Monday. You can select a different day by clicking a day at the top of the timesheet.

Adding a new row

Time
This box lets you enter a time value for the selected day.

This box allows you to add a note for the selected day.

Changing time
You can change a time value by adding a new value to the day box, and your timesheet is automatically saved each time a change is made.

Changing notes
You can change a note by clicking the Notes icon on the right for a row.
Please enter your note for this item, then click Save. Time entry records containing notes are highlighted in yellow.

Removing Items
Click on the Delete icon to remove unneeded rows. You can choose to delete the row for the day or the entire week.

Timesheet Reminders
A timesheet week is considered late if the last date in the week is past and the complete button has not been used. You will be reminded to complete the late timesheet weeks.

Alerts
When logged in to Timemarker, an alert at the top-right shows whether you have any actions to complete. Clicking the alerts icon shows you how many weeks are late.

Late Timesheet Email Reminder
You will receive an email reminder to complete any incomplete weeks for the previous 4 weeks.
