This guide will show you how to add new staff member accounts.
If you are unable to complete any of the steps in this guide, you can use the Submit a request button at the top right of this page to contact our team for help.

Click Staff
- Click the green Add Staff Member button.

At the top of the page, you will see your assigned and total seats.
If you have reached your limit, a link to the subscription page will be displayed. Clicking this link will allow you to purchase additional seats.

Add the new staff member's Name, Email Address and Start Date. The staff member's email address must be unique.

Enter the new staff member’s
Weekly Required Hours - The number of hours they should complete each week.
Hourly Cost Rate - The amount the staff member is paid per hour.
Hourly Bill Rate - The amount the staff member's time is billed for per hour.
- Enter the new staff member’s Office, Department, and Job Title. New values can be added by clicking the Add text for each field.

If you are using the time off system in Timemarker, you can set the staff member's entitlement for the available time off types.

Timesheet Approver: Any account assigned the Timesheet Approver role will appear in this list. When this staff member completes a timesheet, the selected Time Approver will receive an email prompting them to approve or reject the timesheet.

Time Off Approvers: Any account with the Time Off Approver role will appear on this list. When this staff member requests time off, the selected Time Approvers will receive an email prompting them to approve or reject the request.

Custom Working Week: The default working week is Monday to Friday. If the staff member you are adding is part-time, you should set a custom working week to specify the days they can request time off.

Click Save to create the staff member's account.
- A link to set their password will be automatically sent to the new staff member’s email address. They can then log in and start using Timemarker.
